Early in Sunday's Emmy Awards broadcast, Terry O'Quinn was recognized as the best supporting actor in a drama for his work portraying John Locke on the hit series Lost. This marked the second time O'Quinn was nominated for the role; initially he received the nod for the first season of the series in 2005.

O'Quinn joked about his experience on the show, "You know, sometimes, when we're rolling around in the jungle and the mud and we're hitting each other and stabbing each other and shooting each other and pouring on the blood and turning on the sprinklers, I wonder what it would be like to bake up a sheet of cookies on Wisteria Lane -- and get one of their checks."

"But then I think of my cast mates and crew-mates ... and I realize why I have the best job in the world," he said.

As for why he wore a pink shirt with his black suit, O'Quinn quipped,
"Because it's not white. They say it takes a brave man to wear hot pink."

We at SupportingActors.com send out a warm congratulations to Terry -- this award was long overdue!
